Dream herring. Large fillets of herring are cut in small pieces and tossed in an elegant creamy dressing spiced with anchovies. Served with rye bread.
Matjes fillets. Delicious fillets of Icelandic herring are served with finely chopped onions and capers. Accompanied with slices of rye bread.
Crown herring. Herring fillets are marinated in a spicy pickle with red onions, finely chopped dill and sandalwood. Served with rye bread and sprinkled with chives.

Classic fillet of plaice. The plaice is filleted and deep fried. Served with lemon and homemade remoulade. Accompanied with rye bread.
Smoked eel. There is a considerable difference in the taste of eel whether it is silver eel, broad-headed eel or point-headed eel. We serve the silver eel with juniper berries in order to retain its juices and delicious taste of eel. We leave the skin on, because the skin also is a delicacy. Rib roast from free range pig with lots of crisp crackling and red cabbage with apples. Served with rye brad.
"Veterinary’s night snack". A fresh slice of rye bread is coated with paté of liver, salted meat, meat jelly, onion and cress.
Lightly salted and boiled corned veal is served with pickles and horse radish on rye bread.
Roast beef. Delicious thin slices of roasted beef served with a fried egg, gherkins and warm soft onions
Beef tartare served with egg yolk, chopped onions, lemon juice, sour pickles, Dijon mustard and 6 spices. Accompanied by rye bread
Marquis with truffles. Creamy Danish cheese with chopped black winter truffles. Served with farmer‘s loaf and churned butter
Matured cheese with meat jelly, served on rye bread -sprinkled with rum at the table
Chocolate fudge cake. The finest Belgian chocolate fudge is served on a crisp nut pastry covered with a thin layer of grape fruit jam.
